To assist you with your geography assessment – I would like you to write a paragraph explaining where the country Denmark is in relation to Adelaide. (You may need to research where Denmark is located) Please ensure you are using geographical terms in your paragraph.

Denmark is a country in Europe which is in the northern hemisphere. Its latitude is 55 degrees north, Denmark covers an area of 43,094 km2.   Australia is a continent/country in the southern hemisphere. Australia is 14431km away from Denmark. Australia’s latitude is approximately 15-45 degrees and it covers 7.692 million km2, so it is a lot bigger than Denmark. Thanks for reading:-)

Denmark is located to the south-west of Sweden and to the south of Norway. Denmark (from the capital of Copenhagen) is 15,366kms from Adelaide. Denmark can be found in the northern hemisphere and is a country of the continent Europe. Adelaide is found on the continent Australia which is in the southern hemisphere. The exact distance between Denmark and Adelaide is 16381.51 kilometres. The climate in Denmark is cooler than in Adelaide because it is further from the Equator and the temperatures in winter the average is 0.0°C and in summer the average is 15.7°C. Adelaide is in the southern hemisphere. Adelaide is in South Australia witch is in Australia. The climate in Adelaide is hotter than Denmark because it is closer to the Equator and the temperatures in winter the average is 15.5°C and in summer the average is 29.0°C.

It is located  -34.93 latitude and 138.60 longitude and it is situated at elevation 59 meters above sea level.Adelaide has a population of 1,225,235 making it the biggest city in South Australia.

Denmark is a country in the northern hemisphere surrounded by other countries like and across the water is Norway and Sweden. Australia is a continent located in the southern hemisphere made up of states and territory’s. Denmark is located to the north east of Australia- some 14413.85km by air travel (bird fly) or approx 16 hours to arrive direct flight.
